Welcome to My Little Corner of Chaos

Hello, dear readers! I’m Tegan Fairley — Aussie fantasy author, caffeine enthusiast, and occasional chaos gremlin — and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

This is my website: a cozy little nook where you’ll find blogs, short stories, and behind-the-scenes peeks at the wild adventure that is writing my debut fantasy novel, Bloomed (out in 2025!). Think of this as your escape hatch from Monday blues, daily to-do lists, and whatever else life throws at you.

My constant state of mind.

What You Can Expect Here

  • Bite-sized blogs — funny, friendly, and never longer than your coffee break.

  • Escapism with sarcasm — magical worlds, strong heroines, slow-burn romances, and my ongoing war with writer’s block.

  • Behind the scenes — from messy drafts to fantasy world maps (yes, sometimes with dragons that weren’t meant to exist).

Basically, if you’re here for laughter, fantasy talk, or a safe place to procrastinate — you’re in the right spot.

But Wait — There’s More (and It’s Juicier)

The really good stuff lives in my monthly newsletter, launching Monday 1st October.

Here’s the deal:

  • It lands in your inbox on the first Monday of each month (a.k.a. the worst Monday).

  • It’s short, snappy, and designed to distract you from work, school, or folding the laundry you’ve ignored for three days.

  • Inside, you’ll always get three things:

Aussie Author Spotlight (because we have some incredible homegrown talent)

📚 Fantasy Reading Recs (slow burns, fae, political intrigue — you know the vibe)

😂 Your Monthly Mantra (equal parts hilarious and helpful, whether you’re a reader, writer, or just here to cheer me on).

Oh, and yes — most of the jokes will be at my expense.

So grab a metaphorical marshmallow, pull up a chair, and let’s dive into this adventure together.

Welcome to my little corner of chaos. I can’t wait to share it with you.

Totally not a staged photo 🤥
